Holi Celebrations & Satsang

Holi colors alongside a photo of Swamini Ambikamrita Prana
Next event (Yearly): Mar 15, 2025 3:00pm-8:30pm

Amma says, "Holi signifies boundless happiness. As we enjoy such sacred festivities, we should remember that they are meant to remind us of the inner bliss and oneness that are our inherent nature and are the very essence of life. When everyone’s bodies and faces are smeared with colours, all external differences disappear; everyone looks the same. True happiness and love arise only when all the boundaries created by the mind vanish."

Join us Saturday, March 15, 2025, for satsang and Holi celebrations with Swamini Ambikamrita Prana! Here's the tentative schedule:

3:00 - 4:00 pm Holi celebration with colors
5:00 - 6:00 pm Archana
6:00 - 6:15 pm Holi satsang
6:15 - 7:00 pm Bhajans, arati, meditation, and prasad

A delicious vegetarian meal will be available afterward for a modest donation.

What to wear: We will be outdoors for holi festivities, so please bring layers to stay warm. If you’re participating in the fun, old or easy-to-wash attire is recommended.

If you have any questions, please email macenterchicago@ammagroups.org. Interested in spending a weekend in spiritual reflection? Inquire about onsite accommodation via email to macclodging@macenters.org.
