Navaratri in Amrita Hall from Tuesday, October 9th through Wednesday, October 17th

The word Navaratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit. During these nine nights and ten days, three days each are devoted to honoring Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.

Navaratri is traditionally an auspicious time for starting new ventures. The tenth day on Thursday, October 18th, is the Vijayadasami Puja, representing the day of victory.

DURGA PUJA:

•  Wednesday October 10th,  7:30 PM, Puja, Bhajans & Arati
•  Thursday October 11th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati

LAKSHMI PUJA:
•  Friday October 12th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati
•  Saturday October 13th, 4:45 PM Saturday Satsang Program and Puja, Bhajans & Dandia-Garbha Dancing
•  Sunday October 14th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati

SARASWATI PUJA:
•  Monday October 15th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati
•  Tuesday October 16th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati **Books, tools and instruments can be offered as part of the puja for blessings in one's education, artistic pursuits or profession.
•  Wednesday October 17th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati

VIJAYADASAMI PUJA:
Vijayadasami - Day of Victory, Thursday October 18th, 7:00 – 8:00 AM Puja and Prasad, Final Morning of Navaratri, also time to get blessed items
