Onam Celebration with benefit Sadhya Lunch for Wayanad flood relief

Sadhya Lunch tickets are now sold out. We will have a limited quantity of tickets available for purchase at the door on a first come first serve basis for the 1:30 PM seating time (at the door price is $36 per person).  A ticket is not required to attend the activities prior to lunch, all are welcome.

MA Center, San Ramon invites you to celebrate Onam on Saturday, September 21st! Enjoy a sumptuous home style Sadhya Lunch with traditional Onam festivities.

Sadhya will include over 15 traditional Kerala vegetarian dishes served on a Banana leaf!
Let us come together as a family and celebrate this joyous occasion that will fill both your stomach and heart.

Schedule:

  • 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM                 108 names, Onam bhajans and Arati
  • 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM                 Thiruvadhira Kali and Mahabali Arrival
  • 12:15 PM Onwards                    Sadhya Lunch - requires ticket purchase

The sadhya lunch will include two serving times - 12:15 PM and 1:30 PM. Please choose your meal time during registration. Serving times cannot be swapped once registered.

Prayer list: The prayer list is shown every Saturday before Arati for the community to come together in silent prayer for friends, family and loved ones that are undergoing hardship, illness or just need a special thought. Please submit the names of people to be added to the prayer list by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList

Evening Bhajans

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

  • Guru Stotram Chanting

  • Closing prayers and Arati

Directions

The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center,  turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
