SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

10:00 am - 4:30 pm: Seva (Service projects)
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: *Guided IAM Meditation Technique(Main House Puja Room)      
4:30 pm: Group chanting 1000 Names of the Divine Mother & 108 Names of Amma            
5:30 pm: Break for chai & snack (for a small fee, proceeds benefit Amma’s charities)                   
6:00 pm - 7:45pm:  Spiritual talk by Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya followed by Bhajans
7:45 pm: Vegetarian dinner (benefits Amma's charitable projects)

Ganesh Murthi Making: 3:30 - 6:00pm: Snack tent

The beginning of the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha, God of success and overcoming obstacles. All are welcome to make his or her own individual Ganesh murthi - sacred clay figure. Guidance will be provided by craft experts.

This three-part festival will continue on Friday, August 25th with the Ganesh Chaturthi Puja and will conclude on Saturday,September 2, with the Visarjan (Immersion) of the Ganesh murthis in the ashram pond.

- Bake Sale benefitting Amma’s charities opens at 5:30 pm.
