Saturday Satsang & Ganesha Chaturthi Puja with Swamiji: in-person

On Saturday evenings, our community comes together for chanting and bhajans and to connect informally with old and new friends. This year, Swami Dayamaritananda Puri will lead the participatory Ganesh puja, the 2nd part of the three part Ganesha Chathurthi celebration, will be part of our Saturday evening program.

We welcome you to be a part of the puja offered to the handmade Ganesh murthis (sacred clay figures) you created on August 31st, as we honor Lord Ganesha, who removes obstacles and brings good fortune.

This three-part festival will conclude on Saturday, September 14th with the Visarjan (Immersion) of the Ganesha murthis.

Please RSVP to attend the puja in person here by Wednesday, September 4th at 10 PM.so that we will have the puja supplies ready for you to perform the puja.

Schedule:

  • Participatory Ganesh Puja with Swamiji
  • Bhajans with Swamiji
  • Arati and Closing prayers
  • Prasad & Chai for all. Dinner & Snacks for purchase. (See below for details)

Prayer list: The prayer list is shown every Saturday before Arati for the community to come together in silent prayer for friends, family and loved ones that are undergoing hardship, illness or just need a special thought. Please submit the names of people to be added to the prayer list by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList

Food:
Prasad and Chai will be available after the program.
Food From Home will have hot dinner boxes and other food items available for purchase on the balcony after the program. Card and cash payments are accepted.
To guarantee availability of a dinner box, order via the Food From Home initiative by Thursday at 10:00 PM.
Indoor seating will be available for dinner on the temple balcony.
