Saturday Satsang & Ganesha Visarjan: in-person

This Saturday, all are welcome to join the final step of Ganesha Chaturthi with a special Ganesha Visarjan program. The Ganesha Visarjan will include the Murthi immersion ceremony, in which the clay Ganeshas  that were individually made and worshiped are immersed in water. This immersion ceremony symbolizes that all forms are temporary, having both their origin and final destination in the formless Absolute. The program will also include a puja, procession, and bhajans. 

Schedule:

• 108 Names of Amma
• Ganesha Visarjan: Puja, Procession & Bhajans
• Arati and closing prayers
• Prasad & Chai for all. Dinner & Snacks for purchase. (See below for details)

Prayer list: The prayer list is shown every Saturday before Arati for the community to come together in silent prayer for friends, family and loved ones that are undergoing hardship, illness or just need a special thought. Please submit the names of people to be added to the prayer list by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList

Food:

• Prasad and Chai will be available after the program.
• Food From Home will have hot dinner boxes and other food items available for purchase on the balcony after the program. Card and cash payments are accepted.
• To guarantee availability of a dinner box, order via the Food From Home initiative by Thursday at 10:00 PM.
• Indoor seating will be available for dinner on the temple balcony.
