Saturday Satsang & Karthika Program: in-person

Oct 19, 2024 5:30pm-8:00pm

Every month, a special program is held in honor of Amma’s birthstar, Karthika. This Karthika program coincides with Saturday satsang and will include a Karthika manasa puja, followed by bhajans and Arati.

Schedule:

  • Karthika Manasa Puja (includes Amma’s 108 names)
  • Bhajans
  • Arati and closing prayers

On Saturday evenings, our community comes together for satsang (spiritual talk), chanting and bhajans and to connect informally with old and new friends. All are welcome to join us on Saturdays, an RSVP or pre-registration is not required.

“Group chanting and prayer is very powerful. It can change anything. The lost harmony of the human mind can be restored only through a selfless attitude supported by prayer, meditation and chanting of mantras.” Amma

Prayer list: The prayer list is shown every Saturday before Arati for the community to come together in silent prayer for friends, family and loved ones that are undergoing hardship, illness or just need a special thought. Please submit the names of people to be added to the prayer list by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList

Food:

Prasad and Chai will be available after the program.
Dinner will not be available due to the MA Center Dandiya Fundraiser at California High School. See here for details.
