Saturday Satsang - Shivaratri & Homa with Swamini-In-person

This Saturday, MA Center will celebrate Maha Shivaratri with an all-night program, led by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana; ending with a Homa performed by Swamini, that is dedicated to world peace and harmony, for Amma's devotees who have passed away, and those suffering prolonged illnesses. All are invited to join us and observe Shivaratri, a special all-night vigil of chanting and meditative introspection.
Dinner is available - to be ordered in advance via Food From Home

Schedule

  • 7 PM: Dinner
  • 8 PM: Satsang by Swamini
  • 9 PM - 3 AM: Shiva Puja, Bhajans and chanting throughout the night.
    Guided Yoga stretch breaks for movement.
    Chai and light snacks will be available for those not fasting.
  • 4 AM - 6 AM: Homa by Swamini

Homa Details & Registration:
The Homa (Vedic fire ceremony) performed by Swamini will be dedicated to world peace and harmony, as well as performed for Amma's devotees who have passed away, and those suffering prolonged illnesses. The following will be included and are available to register for a sankalpa (spiritual resolve) to be made during the homa on your behalf, or for a loved one, through Saturday, Feb 18 at 3 pm PST: Maha Ganapathy, Ganapathy, Maha Mrityunjaya, Tila, Navagraha (all nine planets), and individual planets.

Masks Indoors are optional and a personal preference. We request you to remember that the health and safety of all who wish to attend the program should remain uppermost in our minds and hearts. If you feel at all sick, have a fever, or have been exposed to anyone who tests positive for Covid-19, please do not attend.

Food

Prasad and Chai will be available after the program.
A boxed dinner option will be available as part of the Food From Home order form and can be picked up before the program. Indoor seating will be available for dinner on the temple balcony.
Dinner orders will only be taken via the Food From Home initiative.

AYUDH GIVE- Food & Clothing Drive Initiative

AYUDH San Ramon is organizing a drive to collect gently used winter clothing (such as sweaters, hats, scarves) and non-perishable food items to distribute to people experiencing homelessness.

If you have any items that you no longer need and can donate, please bring them to Saturday satsang programs in February.  Every item donated will be personally distributed and will make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. For any question on this initiative, please contact: sanramon@ayudh.org

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

Directions

The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center,  turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
