Special Navaratri Puja by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana
Friday, October 11th, will be Maha Navami, the ninth and final night of Navaratri. During the nine days of Navaratri, Maha Durga, the Supreme in the feminine - the Mother Goddess, also known as Maha Devi - is worshiped. Maha Durga embodies three different manifestations of the Divine Mother: Durga for protection and good health, Lakshmi for wealth and success, and Saraswati for knowledge.
As the culmination of the MA Center San Ramon Navaratri festival, Swamini Ambikamrita Prana will perform a traditional Bhagavati Seva Puja ceremony dedicated to Maha Durga, also known as Bhagavati.
The puja will begin at 7 pm, and will be accompanied by devotional chants and bhajans.
All are welcome to attend.
The Bhagavati Seva Puja is an ancient ceremony for restoring balance in the environment and bringing peace within us and in the world. It is conducted to receive the blessings of the Divine Mother for protection from miseries, fulfillment of wishes, and for spiritual benefits. To register for a sankalpa (special intention) to be made on your behalf, or for a loved one, during the puja, please sign up using the link provided below: $100 per individual.
Sankalpa registration will be open online until 12:00 PM PDT on the day of the puja. Register here >>
Please note that those who register for sankalpa do not need to be present to receive the benefits of the puja.
