The costs of operations, maintenance, and upkeep requires our continued commitment and efforts. Through the gesture of financial pledging, not only will we be contributing to MA Center Atlanta's success, we will be supporting everything for which it stands. 

 

MA Center Atlanta was founded by Amma, a global humanitarian and spiritual leader,  internationally renowned for embracing millions of people around the globe, offering emotional solace, spiritual guidance and practical solutions to anyone in need. MA Center Atlanta provides the public with a welcoming community for spiritual seekers to enjoy a contemplative and nurturing atmosphere. Some of these free activities include:

 

Inspired by Amma, MA Center Atlanta operates not only to conceive and implement local Embracing the World humanitarian projects, but also serves as a hermitage grounded in spiritual principles and activities. Like its founder, our Center has attracted members from literally every major religion, ethnicity, tradition and culture.

 

MA Center Atlanta is home to the southeast US branch of the Mata Amritanandmayi Math (MAM) –a spiritual and humanitarian organization with special consultancy status to the UN –and its regional Embracing the World (ETW) humanitarian network. A unique feature of MA Math's administrative structure is that all top-level administrators at both the national and international levels are volunteers. There are also a huge number of volunteers active at every level of the organization - all regional efforts here at MA Center Atlanta are carried out by volunteers. This combined with an ethic of personal renunciation demonstrated by Amma and filtered down to every level of the organization ensures that the funds raised for our humanitarian initiatives reach the beneficiaries directly, instead of being dissipated in administrative overhead.
