NAVARATRI Celebrations 2017

Durga Puja: September 20th, 21st and 22nd at 7:30pm. 

Devoted to the worship of the divine in the form of Goddess Durga. 

Lakshmi Puja: September 23rd at 4:30pm during regular Satsang. 

September 24th and 25th at 7:30pm

Devoted to the worship of the divine in the form of Goddess Lakshmi who helps us acquire material and spiritual wealth.

Saraswati Puja: 

September 26th, 27th and 28th at 7:30pm.

Devoted to the worship of the divine in the form of Goddess Saraswathi goddess of Knowledge.

Ayudha Puja: September 28th at 7:30 PM : Where everyone gives their tools of the trade (Ayudha)-pens, machinery, automobiles etc a rest and ritually worships them. Those involved in artistic and scholarly pursuits (students) may bring their instruments and books to be placed at the altar. They start afresh from the next day, the 10th day which is considered as 'Vijaya Dasami'.     

Vijaya Dashami Celebrations: September 29th at 7:30PM.  Vijaya Dashami means victory on the 10th day. The root sentiment of Vijaya Dashmi is victory; of good over evil and of self over one's mundane indriyas (senses). The scriptures advise us to attain victory over the mind. One who has not conquered the mind has not conquered anything at all.
