Soil Food Web A Huge Success

Soil Food Web at the MA Center was a huge success!  More than 50 students attended the week-long seminar on soil ecology with reknowned scientist Dr. Elaine Ingham. From learning how to brew compost tea for achieving the optimal growth of positive microorganisms, to studying the life in soil under the microscope, students learned the practical and scientific sides of soil management.  Dr. Elaine Ingham was as gracious and knowledgeable as always: from Monday morning to Friday evening, Dr. Ingham shared pearls of wisdom for creating the best soil possible for healthy plants in a healthy environment.  Garden hobbyists and professional farmers all benefited from this wonderful course on developing healthy soil.
