Mindful Communication Workshop
Mindful Communication Workshop by Arati
This class offers practical training and concrete tools to :
- Support us in staying connected with ourselves and others in challenging moments
- Help us experience how, through understanding our basic human needs, we can transform judgements and criticism into understanding and compassion
- Understand why we get triggered and see how we can choose to respond rather than react
- Consider that ‘no’ can be the beginning of a dialogue rather than the end of one.
This practice of Mindful Communication evolves from Nonviolent Communication(NVC) founded by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg. NVC offers us tools and a consciousness through which we can deepen our connection with ourselves and others, thereby transforming our habitual responses to life.
Arati has been practicing Nonviolent Communication for 7 years. She teaches Mindful Communication and offers mediation support to people who face challenges in communicating with each other.
The class is limited to 20 participants. The cost is $20 and includes a vegetarian lunch.
