MOTHER'S KITCHEN NEW ENGLAND CONTINUES TO

GROW AND SERVE!

If you have ever cooked and served in Mother's Kitchen, surely you have experienced the joy of sharing Amma's Love and Compassion through the gifting of a hot, home cooked meal. On the day of Amma's birthday celebration in October, Amma's Love was flowing as sevites came together to chop veggies and help prepare a beautiful dinner for the women and children at Abbey's House in Worcester, Massachusetts. This shelter is about 20 minutes from the Ashram and houses about 9 women and their children.

There are many seva opportunities for Amma's children to get involved through Mother's Kitchen New England. We recently have had an anonymous donor commit to financially supporting all of Amma's Kitchens in New England. This selfless act will allow us to expand to serving two hot meals a month at Abbey's House, with a total of four days of Mother's Kitchen happening in New England!

We do need sevites to help shop, prep and deliver the meals.

• If you are interested in coming to the ashram to prepare meals for Abbey’s House on the 1^st and 3^rd Saturdays of each month, please contact Kathleen at kathleendamiata@sbcglobal.net.

• If you live in the Lexington area of Massachusetts, you may contact Jayanthi for Mother's Kitchen Waltham at amruta4500@yahoo.com. This Mother’s Kitchen meets before the Lexington Satsang every second Saturday of the month.

• The Connecticut Mother’s Kitchen also meets on the second Saturday of the month. If you are interested in participating in the Connecticut Mother’s Kitchen seva, please contact Jill at cole.jill@sbcglobal.net.
