Wayanad Landslide Disaster Relief Efforts
On the occasion of Amma’s 71st birthday, the Ashram is unveiling a major disaster-relief initiative aimed at enhancing landslide resilience in Wayanad, Kerala. This will include an aid package of ₹15 crores ($1.8 million) to support the survivors of the recent landslides and strengthen disaster response in the region.
Free Weddings for the needy
Mangalyasudha, free marriage ceremonies conducted by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math is a testament to Amma’s enduring commitment to assisting those in need, ensuring that financial constraints are not an obstacle to couples as they enter the next chapter of their lives.
Amma’s personal involvement is what makes this event truly remarkable. The jewelry and dress for both the bride and groom are sponsored by the Ashram and Amma herself conducted the ceremony.
