Prayer Circle: Lighting Lamps, Igniting Strength

"True happiness is when the love within us finds its expression through external activities." - Amma
On February 1, 2025, Satsang members gathered in a heartfelt Prayer Circle, lighting lamps as a symbol of strength, resilience, and well-being. The ceremony, infused with devotion and unity, aimed to invoke spiritual energy for overcoming adversity and fostering peace within the community.
The vibrant rangoli surrounding the lamps added to the serene ambiance, reflecting the beauty of tradition and collective prayers. Each flame carried intentions for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, illuminating a path of hope and positivity.
This sacred gathering served as a reminder that light dispels darkness—not just in the physical world but within our hearts and lives. The Lamp Offerings reinforced the power of faith and the strength found in togetherness.
One participant shared, "I participated in this prayer ceremony and lit a lamp for a dear friend of mine. I felt my heart expand with love and concern for her. This group prayer convinced me to visit her and spend some time with her afterward. Amma tells us that if we love God, we should love everyone around us. Lighting the lamps after spending an hour singing bhajans felt like we took the love we expressed for Amma and transferred it to Her children."
