Amma Canada Food Rescue - Apr & May 2024

Amma Canada volunteers in Toronto continue to collect excess and slightly past-dated non-perishable food donations from Georgetown Bread Basket to redistribute to other food charities. Over several Saturdays in April and May, a small group of dedicated volunteers collected over 800 lbs of useable food and delivered it to Brampton’s Knight Table. All donations are gratefully accepted by Knights Table, where food is used in their prepared community meals, or given to many families and individuals visiting the food bank.
