Saturday at MA Center, International Day of Peace, IAM-20 Class/Refresher and Amrita Yoga Class
Make a day of it! Join us in any of the activities or just for the evening program.
MA Center is honoring this annual International Day of Peace by chanting continuous Archana, 1,000 Names of the Divine Mother, in the Main House Puja Room from 5:00 am - 10:00 am and in Amrita Hall from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm, with Lokaha chanting and Silent Meditation for World Peace from 12 - 12:30. All are welcome to participate.
SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:
10:00 am - 4:30 pm: Seva (Service projects): Visit macenterseva.org to check details.
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: *Guided IAM-35 Meditation (Main House Puja Room)
*Group Vedic Chanting (Amrita Hall)
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Group chanting 1000 Names of the Divine Mother
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Break for chai & snack (Bake sale, proceeds benefit Amma’s charities)
6:00 pm - 8:00pm: 108 Names of Amma, Satsang (or) video of Amma, Bhajans, Arati and Closing Prayers
8:00 pm: Vegetarian dinner (benefits Amma's charitable projects)
IAM®-20 Class & Refresher:
Location: Creekside
2 - 4 pm
No registration required.
IAM® 20 is a modified version of the original IAM®35 technique that was designed by Amma. This version is carefully and specifically designed for working people and takes 20 minutes a day.

Amrita Yoga Class:
9 - 10 am, Creekside building (upstairs room)
An "open class" with simple, gentle Amrita Yoga postures/asanas. No prior yoga experience or Amrita Yoga training necessary.
“The purpose of Yoga is for our inner well-being. It does not belong to any particular faith or religion. It was passed on to us by the ancient seers for the well-being of humanity. Yoga helps us to reconnect with nature and eventually become one with God.” – Amma
The cost for the class is $10 payable by cash or check (made out to MA Center) at the door. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Kavyashree at : ammaskavyashree@sbcglobal.net as soon as possible as space is limited. We request you to be there 15 minutes before the start of the class so that we can register you and get settled in before the class begins.

- *Vedic Chanting: Chanting the Pancha Suktams, Mantra Pushpam and Sri Rudram in unison to recordings as a way to practice and learn. Please bring your own books.
- Bake Sale benefitting Amma’s charities opens at 5:30 pm.
