Saturday Satsang: in-person

Saturday Satsang: in-person
Aug 31, 2024 5:30pm-8:00pm (ended)

On Saturday evenings, our community comes together for satsang (spiritual talk), chanting and bhajans and to connect informally with old and new friends.
All are welcome to join us on Saturdays, an RSVP or pre-registration is NOT required.

“Group chanting and prayer is very powerful. It can change anything. The lost harmony of the human mind can be restored only through a selfless attitude supported by prayer, meditation and chanting of mantras.” – Amma

Schedule:

  • Amma’s 108 names
  • Satsang
  • Bhajans
  • Arati and closing prayers
  • Prasad & Chai for all. Dinner for purchase, pre-order here.

Prayer list: The prayer list is shown every Saturday before Arati for the community to come together in silent prayer for friends, family and loved ones that are undergoing hardship, illness or just need a special thought. Please submit the names of people to be added to the prayer list by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList

Food:

  • Prasad and Chai will be available after the program.
  • Hot dinner boxes will be available for purchase on the balcony after the program. Card and cash payments are accepted. Pre-orders will not be available since the Food From Home meal service is paused until after Amma’s North American summer tour.
  • Indoor seating will be available for dinner on the temple balcony.

Food From Home meal service pick up and deliveries will resume Saturday, September 7th.

Masks Indoors are optional and a personal preference. We request you to remember that the health and safety of all who wish to attend the program should remain uppermost in our minds and hearts. If you feel at all sick, have a fever, or have been exposed to anyone who tests positive for Covid-19, please do not attend.
