2. Some of the highlights of Amritavarsham 50 are captured in this video - Embracing the World for Peace and Harmony, a four-day International event held during the Golden Jubilee Birthday Celebrations of Her Holiness Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (popularly known as Amma). 

Delegates and representatives from all 191 United Nations gathered at this event and water was brought from the sacred rivers of these nations. The event included various cultural and artistic performances from many continents, religions, and cultures. This global gathering is a beautiful example of universal love and kinship, inspired by Amma.

Renowned leaders from all walks of life shared their wisdom, several conferences were conducted and new charitable projects were inaugurated. 

With the flags of all nations waving, hundreds of thousands of devotees from around the world held hands and prayed together for global peace and harmony, chanting Lokah Samastah Sukino Bhavantu (May all beings in all the Worlds be Happy).

This universal convergence of hearts and minds with a common goal of global peace and harmony has been hailed as a unique and unprecedented event.
