Honoring Amma's Wish to Plant More Trees
Honoring Amma’s request to plant trees, ETT DC (Embracing the Trees DC) had two group tree planting excursions at the University of Maryland on April 15th and the Reed Center on April 22nd.
Between the two events, we planted 53 trees, ranging in size from tiny seedlings to young 4-foot tall trees.
Approximately half of our volunteers from M A Center DC were AYUDH members and all appreciated the chance to dig, serve and love, striving to follow Amma's instruction to plant trees.
The weather was ideal for outdoor work.
We escaped a rainstorm by minutes on April 22nd. Although we stayed dry, Mother Nature watered her newly planted tree offspring soon after with a heavy downpour.
