Farming Update - Nov 16

Thank you for a successful 2024 Farm Season!
The 2024 farming season has come to a successful completion! By the end of this week we will have donated more than 10,000 lbs of fruit and vegetables to food banks across the GTA. A huge round of applause to all who have helped make this possible! It was heartwarming to see so many people helping where they could in the veggie and flower gardens, orchard, sales, grass cutting, and kitchen. A special thanks to our cooks for preparing so many wonderful meals.
With the harvesting completed, the Farm Team can now spend the remaining time clearing burdock and cleaning up the sheds. We will also be making applesauce this Saturday. Shed cleaning will begin at 10 AM. Burdock clearing and applesauce seva will start at 11 AM. As the kitchen will be in use, please bring your own lunch.
