The Many Faces of Love: A Heartwarming Virtual Satsang

"Where there is love, distance doesn’t matter." – Amma
A winter storm couldn’t keep love at bay! Embracing Amma’s wisdom, the MA Center Michigan community gracefully transitioned from an in-person gathering to a virtual one, proving that love transcends physical distance.
The satsang began with the chanting of Amma’s 108 names, setting a sacred and meditative tone. Attendees then listened to Swami Dayamritananda’s insightful talk on self-compassion, followed by a heartfelt discussion on the many ways love manifests in our lives.
One participant shared a touching story about Jake, the Wonder Dog, saying, "He was a wild and crazy border collie with all kinds of bizarre behaviors. We loved him with all our hearts. If we could love Jake with his so-called character defects, then we could surely love ourselves—and everyone."
The satsang became a source of warmth and connection for those feeling isolated. A participant from Western Michigan shared, "I have really felt isolated here. It was such a heartwarming experience to share and hear stories about love and compassion."
A devotee from Toledo added, "We were inspired by listening to the stories and experiences of others. It was such a blessing to meet with so many people."
Despite the storm, the Many Faces of Love Satsang proved that when hearts unite in devotion, no distance—physical or emotional—can keep love apart.
