Karthika Puja
A monthly birthday is traditionally observed in India based on the moon's position at the time of birth. Karthika is is the Nakshatra - star constellation - in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma's birth. Therefore, each time the moon returns to this spot in the heavens, approximately every 28 days, is considered to be a day of dedication to Amma and is celebrated by her children around the world. We celebrate Karthika day every month with a Pada Puja followed by Chanting & Bhajans . Please check our events page for the next event.
