IAM-35 Course Retreat at MA Center D.C. in Person
Saturday through Sunday, April 12-13
Learn Amma's IAM-35 at the MA Center D.C. Integrated Amrita Meditation Retreat, led by long-time IAM instructors Wendy Steben and Martha Miller. IAM-35 is a 35-minute daily meditation technique that integrates gentle yoga, breath, sound, and visualization to harmonize the body, mind, intellect, and heart. The technique is beneficial for beginners and experienced practitioners seeking to deepen their spiritual practice. Born from Amma's vision for universal spiritual growth, this meditation helps practitioners navigate daily life while fostering inner transformation.

IAM-35 Weekend Retreat Schedule
Day I: Saturday, April 12
10:00 – 10:30 am: Registration
10:30 am –12:30 pm: Session 1, Orientation & IAM Instruction
12:30 – 1:15 pm: Lunch
1:15 – 4:30 pm: Session 2, IAM Instruction
4:30 – 8:00 pm: Ashram Archana and Satsang follow by dinner (optional)
Day II: Sunday, April 13
10:00 – 10:30 am: Check in & IAM-35 Refresher welcome
10:30 – 12:30 pm: Session 3, IAM Instruction
12:30 – 1:15 pm: Light Lunch
1:15 – 3:00 pm: Session 4, IAM Instruction & Closing
Note: Full participation in all four IAM instruction sessions is required for course completion.
IAM-35 Refresher, Sunday, April 13, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm: Those who have previously completed the full IAM-35 course are welcome to join the class in person to review the IAM-35. To register for the Refresher click here.

Meals: Vegetarian meals will be available for purchase.
What to bring: Because the MA Center is an ashram (spiritual sanctuary) we kindly request that all attendees dress modestly to maintain the sacred atmosphere of the space. Wear modest comfortable clothing suitable for gentle yoga poses. You may wish to bring a yoga mat and/or blanket, meditation cushion, water bottle, and snacks. Chairs and course handouts will be provided. Also, if you wish, bring clothing for the outdoors—during breaks you are invited to stroll and soak in the spiritual atmosphere of the ashram grounds.

IAM Guided Meditation Sessions are for IAM graduates who have completed the full IAM Course. The steps of the technique are verbally guided, and there is an opportunity for extended silent meditation together. Guided meditation helps to deepen and support an individual's daily practice, and meditation in a group is beneficial for all who participate. Depending on the session, it is about 30 - 60 minutes. Please contact each instructor/team to register: include your full name, when and where you attended the IAM Course, and the day of the week/time of each session you wish to sign up for.
